New Hockey Coach at Mystic Valley

The Mystic Valley Regional Charter School has named Jon Gardner as their new Head Varsity Ice Hockey Coach.  Coach Gardner comes to Mystic Valley after ten years of coaching junior hockey.  He also brings his playing experience, which includes high school, junior level, and college.

Coach Gardner is excited about the opportunity and eager to start this season:  “I am very happy to be coaching at the high school level and am looking forward to working with the student-athletes at Mystic Valley.  We will continue to build the program and maintain a high level of success on the ice, in the classroom, and in the community. “

Mystic Valley Athletic Director, Marc Arria, is extremely happy to add Coach Gardner to the staff of the athletic department:  “Coach Gardner brings a tremendous amount of both playing and coaching experience, as well as great knowledge of the game.  The student-athletes will benefit greatly from this, as well as from his passion and enthusiasm.  Finding quality coaches isn’t always easy so bringing someone with Coach Gardner’s resume in, is amazing.”

Coach Gardner is an adapted physical education teacher with SEEM Collaborative, where he has been for the past ten years.
