Melinda had to learn her scales and a selected solo for trombone to perform in front of a trombone adjudicator.  She performed at Lowell High School as part of the Northeast Junior Festival concert.  Melinda is the first student from Mystic Valley to be accepted to this select band.

“The only person more proud of her than me is her dad Bob Taylor who helps out with the band at every rehearsal and is also an ex student of mine” said Mystic Valley Band Director, Mark Kaplan.
