Mystic Valley Soccer Team Makes State Tournament

Soccer Team makes State Tourney

Despite playing in their first year at the varsity level, the Mystic Valley boys soccer team qualified for the state tournament after beating Whittier 1-0.

The boys had lost to Whittier 8-0 earlier in the season, so the win was especially pleasing for the team. After the game Head Coach Carlos-Luis Brown said that “was the best game of the season. These kids are playing incredibly well”.

Whittier is number one in the Commonwealth Athletic Conference Small Division. The Eagles are number two.
