Mystic Valley Holds Senior Lunch

Awards

The Mystic Valley Regional Charter School recently held its annual Senior Lunch in the school’s new facility at 576 Eastern Avenue.  The yearly event was attended by the members of the senior class and their parents as well as the entire Mystic Valley faculty and staff.

The lunch program began with greetings from Mystic Valley Assistant Director George Benzie who introduced new Mystic Valley Executive Director, Martin Trice. Mr. Trice briefly addressed the crowd expressing how excited he was to be at Mystic Valley and congratulating the seniors and their parents on their achievements.

Senior Class President, Jordan DiPietro, thanked all of the teachers and parents in the room for all their help over their years of study at Mystic Valley. Senior class Vice-President, Leandra Furtado and Treasurer Karl Afrikian presented the class gift. The class of 2012 donated a large clock with the Mystic Valley logo on it to Mr. Benzie with the intent that it be hung in the new gym. They also directed all the seniors in the room to deliver a flower to a family member that accompanied them to the lunch.
