Volleyball Players Named to All Star Team
Two Mystic Valley Volleyball players, Jessica Phinney and Shannon Roseen, were recently named to the Commonwealth Athletic Conference All Star Team.
Both girls played a big role in leading their team to the MIAA Tournament. Phinney set the school record for assists in a season with 304. Roseen set the school record in a season for kills with 141 and also had 76 aces this year.
“This is the second year in a row that Jess and Shannon have been selected as CAC All-Stars. This is great considering they are both sophomores. Their play has been solid the whole year, and they have both had some outstanding performances. They are truly two of the best players in the league, and I am excited that I get to coach them for two more years” said their coach, Marc Arria.
