The Mystic Valley Eagles hockey team got their first win of the season just in time for the ball to drop for the New Year.
Tony Imriano returned to the line up after being out for 2 weeks with a concussion, and made his presence felt immediately with two first period goals.
The Eagles took a 3-0 lead into the first break. East Boston put the pressure on to start the second and answered with two goals to cut the deficit to 1. Captain Kyle Hanson answered with a nice individual effort and pushed the lead back to two.

East Boston came out flying in the third and tied the game at 4. Tony Imbriano completed his hat trick bid to make it 5-4 Mystic only to see East Boston tie it up again.
Kyle Hanson scored the game winner with a minute to play in the game, and the Eagles held on for the win!
