Mystic Valley Girls Basketball season Starts Season with OT Win

Mystic Valley Girls Start Season with Win

The Mystic Valley Girls Varsity Basketball team started the season off in style with an exciting 60-56 overtime win over St. Clement. The entire team had to step up and perform as five Mystic Valley players fouled out by the end of the game.

Mystic Valley led at the end of each of the first three quarters (First Q: 14-10.  Second Q: 24-19. Third Q: 41-37) but couldn’t close the door on the scrappy St. Clement’s team. Once the game made it to overtime the teams both played an intense defensive game. Mystic Valley outscored St. Clement 4-2 in the extra period to take home the win.
