Mystic Valley Girls Shutout Lynn Tech
The Mystic Valley girls’ soccer team continued its string of shutouts with a 9-0 win over Lynn Tech on Thursday. The team has not allowed a goal in six games so far this season and now has a record of 5-0-1.

The Eagles were led on offense by three players who had two goals apiece: Katarina DiPlacido; Krystiana DiMaro and Sydney Carlino. The Eagles also had two players score their first goal of the season in Kathryn McPherson and Feliciana Panza. Three players had three point games Samantha Rizzo, Krystiana DiMaro and Vanessa Kreis.
Recording her sixth shut out in the net was Mystic Valley’s version of Hope Solo, Jackie Lane. Mystic Valley coach, Michael White was pleased with his team’s performance noting that “it was an overall good team effort”. The girls have their first home game of the season Saturday at MC against St. Clement.
