Four members of the Mystic Valley soccer team were named to the Commonwealth Athletic Conference all star team. Hari Perišić – Hari is one of the hardest-working athletes I have ever coached. He never gives less than 100% in a game or in practice. He is constantly communicating, directing traffic and fixing issues on the field. During games where some students thought the game was over, he stepped up and kept them moving and he always led by example. He is a fantastic worker and will be sorely missed next year.

Giuseppe Iacovone – Giuseppe is the jack-of-all-trades on the field. He played in any position we needed him to play in and left everything on the field every game. He had a great sense of the game, movement and he never gave up on a play or the ball. He was a leader on and off the field and a great part of the team looked to him as a leader.

Michael Russo-Penta – Michael is a true freshman goalie with incredible reflexes. He still has to develop other parts of the game, but he is a talented goalie who kept us in several games this year and set a record of 52 saves in a single game. We are looking forward to seeing him grow the next few years.

Scott Nguyen – Scott is also a true freshman with a great outside shot. He worked exceptionally hard and recorded 9 points (7 goals and 2 assists) this season. He works exceptionally hard during practice and will be a huge threat in the upcoming years of the program as he continues to improve.
