Four Mystic Valley Football Players Named to CAC All Star Team

Football All Stars

Mystic Valley seniors Klysman Afonso, Brian O'Connor, Pat Appleby and junior Alex Baires were recently selected for the Commonwealth Athletic Conference All-Star Football team.

Head Coach Rollie Hinckley spoke highly of his players:

Klysman Afonso was a four-season starter on offense and defense. Klysman was the Eagles’ foremost pass receiver and the team's leading running back this season. Klysman intends to pursue the sport in college.

Pat Appleby has been a starter on offense for three seasons and on defense for the past two seasons. Pat has proved to be a very precise blocker on offense. Pat is also a member of the Eagles' baseball team.

Brian O'Conner is a first year player and distinguished himself on both offense and defense as a starting tight end and defensive end. Brian had some very important pass receptions this fall and several teams selected to direct their offense away from his side this fall. Brian is also a key member of the Eagles' basketball Team.

Alex Baires was a very strong Defensive Tackle for the Eagles this Fall as well as the offensive center. Alex was a large part of all of the defensive success we had during games
