Ferullo Coach of Year

Ferullo Coach of Year

Mystic Valley’s Ferullo CAC Coach of Year

Mystic Valley Varsity Basketball Head Coach, Tony Ferullo, was named Commonwealth Athletic Conference Coach of the Year.  The award comes as the team wraps up the season having posted the best record in school history, 17-3, and having finished first in their division for the first time in school history.

Reached for comment after receiving the award Ferullo said “I’m not one for individual achievements, but I’m certainly honored to receive the league’s Coach of the Year award, namely because my fellow coaches did the voting,” said Ferullo.  “What I would like to do is share this award with my trusted staff (assistant varsity coach Don Breault and jv coach Craig Turner), as well as my players, because they all make me look good.  I consider this a team award because there is no word I treasure more than ‘team’ when it comes to coaching this great game.”
