Coach Jon Bush was very happy for the boys stating “I’m very happy for our boy runners named to the CAC All Star team, as each of them have put in a tremendous amount of effort throughout the course of the season. Not only did they succeed athletically in the races, but they also succeeded as role models and leaders for the other members of the team. Additionally, each of these runners went the ‘extra mile’ by participating in voluntary weekend long runs throughout the regular season. Patrick Moran and Kyle Hanson have been part of the team for over 4 years and so it is extra rewarding for them to accept this merit while leaving the program on a very high note. Jonathan Powers came to practice each day with enthusiasm and energy, and will be asked to provide extra leadership as a veteran Senior member of the team next season. Last but certainly not least, the team would not have been nearly as successful without the efforts of Patrick McPherson, who came in 1st place for our team in nearly every single race. With two more years of eligibility left, and with his combination of athleticism and work ethic, he has the tools to become a very elite runner.”
