The Malden Chamber of Commerce and Dockside Restaurant hosted a 'Hail and Farewell Celebration' last night to honor departing Executive Director, Ted Coates, while giving members a chance to welcome our new Director, Jenna Coccimiglio.
Mayor Gary Christenson and City Councillor At Large, David D'Arcangelo stopped by to present Ted with a special Citation Award for his service with the Chamber and his efforts to partner with the Mayor's office as a representative of the Malden business community. Senator Katherine Clark also shared some kind words wishing Ted the best and thanking him for his service. Additionally, the Chamber presented The Bread of Life with a check for $1,700 from proceeds generated at our annual Taste of Malden event to assist in feeding the hungry and homeless in our community.
