Learn TV Studio Production at MATV!

Would you like to learn how to run your own television show at MATV? Here's the info you need to know.

Want to work “behind the scenes” on a TV set? You can learn to be a TV director, operate a studio camera, set up microphones, run an audio board, be a “tape tech”, or produce a studio-based television program!

Where can you learn all these skills?  At your local community media center, of course.

Malden Access Television (MATV) will be holding its next 6-part Intro to TV Studio Production class on the following dates: November 26, 29, December 3, 6, 10, & 13. Monday night classes are 6:30 – 9pm and Thursday nights are 7:00 – 9:30pm.

All participants must first attend the free MATV orientation on Wednesday, November 14 (6:30 – 8:00 pm). The class is $25 for all MATV members.  Membership is open to all Malden residents and costs $25 ($10 for students and seniors).

Call 781-321-6400 for more information and to sign up for the orientation, or email access@matv.org.  You could also drop by our facility at 145 Pleasant St. OR sign up for orientation online. To find out more info about MATV, go to www.matv.org.
