Come to Soctoberfest

Malden Youth Soccer invites all members of the Malden Community to come by Devir Park between noon and 4PM on Sunday, October 7.

Soctoberfest has been RESCHEDULED to Saturday, October 13.

Come one, come all, to Soctoberfest!

Malden Youth Soccer's inaugural Soctoberfest last year was a great success,so we're making it an annual event. We invite all members of the Malden Community to come by Devir Park between noon and 4PM on Saturday, October 13 to celebrate the international game known in American English as "soccer." In a few of Malden's languages, the sport is known as:

If you have another name for soccer, please add it in the comments to this blog post!

At Soctoberfest, there will be soccer-related games for all ages, scrimmages, pizza and a bake sale, and chances to win prizes. Wear your Malden uniform, or a jersey from your favorite team. Celebrate the world's sport, and find out about the youth soccer program in Malden.

If you have any gently pre-worn cleats, please bring them (after you clean them). They will be resold at the event for a modest price.

All Soctoberfest proceeds go to MYS, a non-profit organization, for equipment and to keep registration fees low. If you or your company would like to make a donation, or you have any questions, send email to info@maldenyouthsoccer.org, or see http://maldenyouthsoccer.org.

Note: when you park, please respect the neighborhood and public safety by parking legally. Better yet: ride your bike!

I am a resident of Emerald ST and ask that those attending this event adhere to the "NO PARKING " signs on Emerald ST (along the Devir Park of the street.) If emergency vehicles need to get down the street it is virtually impossible for all concerned please park legally and appropriately.

I'll relay your concern.
