MEB's home ice is at the Louis E. Porrazzo Memorial Rink in East Boston (Orient Hights), and we offer a chance for your children to play from age 4 in our Learn-to-Skate program through high school with full and half-year programs to allow for teens to play on their school teams as well. Youngsters learn skills, develop team and sportsmanship traits, and create bonds of friendship that can last a lifetime.
Our Learn-to-Skate Clinic is a program for girls and boys ages 4 and over. The Hockey Clinic is a basic learn to skate, learn to play hockey program with two one-hour practices each week. There are three levels taught; learn-to-skate, basic skills, and advanced skills. Classes are held on Sundays at 11:30AM and Wednesdays at 6:00PM at the Porrazzo Rink in East Boston. The fee for this session is $160 for 10 weeks, and includes a free hockey jersey. For new skaters to the program, we require a copy of the child’s birth certificate, and payment is required for all skaters at registration.
