Ethics Issues in Malden Again?

Ethics Questions in State Rep Campaign swirl once more. Always interesting in Malden these days, when ward 6 in the State newspaper, again.

The campaign for state rep barely swings into high gear before the Boston Globe uncovers questionable ethics practices coming out of Ward 6, again.
Even with the fair and balanced attempt in the Globe article, the statements from the ward 6 district defense indicates a glossing over of the appearance of abuse of authority.
Granted that all Malden city councilors solicit help from citizens and parents of school children across the city, the ward 6 councilor is the "only" representative on the city council to actually run a school in his district and solicit those same children to help his political campaign, in order to get a passing grade in "his" school.  To my knowledge, no other councilor is chairman of the board of any school in the city of Malden and been reprimanded by the Department of Education for managerial violations.
The implications of some manner of conflict of interest or ethics violation are so great, it's no wonder the Boston Globe took notice.
Even with no official follow up on this issue in the offing, the cloud will hang over this season's election results.
