The 27th Mile – Going the Extra Mile to Support the Victims of the Boston Marathon Bombing, edited by Arlington's Ray Charbonneau, is an entertaining collection of stories and articles by a stellar group of writers who run. The book extols the spirit that first got runners out on the roads to run, that bring them to Boston on a spring day, and that will bring them back every year.
Ray and local contributor and marathon volunteer Caryl Haddock will be reading from the book and telling stories from the 2013 race and from the triumphant return in 2014.
All proceeds from sales of The 27th Mile (paperback or ebook) go to The One Fund Boston to help those affected by the marathon bombings. http://www.the27thmile.com
