Movie Night At The Malden Public Library

Join us for Movie Night at the Malden Public Library on Wednesday, February 12th from 6:00-7:45pm in the Maccario Room for “Three Worlds,” an award-winning independent film from the Film Movement series.  This movie has been rescheduled due to the snow storm on January 22nd.

Al, a Parisian car salesman and social climber, drunkenly causes a hit-and-run accident which kills an immigrant pedestrian. Juliette secretly witnesses the accident from an upstairs window and is distraught when the Al’s car speeds away as she desperately calls for an ambulance. Juliette locates the victim’s wife, Vera, and strikes up a friendship with her, while the story moves through twists and turns and secrets are revealed in the three very different worlds.

Director Catherine Corsini’s film, “Three Worlds,” was an official selection at the Cannes Film Festival and is described as “highly engaging” and “elegantly cerebral.”
