Suits for Veterans Success...A Success!
An open thank you blog to the Malden community for supporting Suits for Veterans Success.
I just wanted to take a moment to thank everyone who supported Tailored For Success' Suits for Veterans Success event.
On Monday, November 12th, we served 9 veterans including 5 army veterans, 2 air force veterans, 1 navy veteran and 1 coast guard veteran. The event was made possible by donations from the Men's Wearhouse and Clark's Shoes which allowed us to distribute a suit, shirt, several new ties, new shoes and briefcases to each veteran.
The veterans were treated to personal image consulting, friendship and encouragement by wonderful volunteers from The Gap in Everett along with local community volunteers. At the end of the day, there were smiles and hugs all around and next year we hope to have a bigger event.
