Sunny Skies, A Family Movie Night and More

5 things you need to know today, Wednesday, Dec. 28.

1. Windy enough for ya?: Wednesday will be mostly sunny with winds calming to gusts around 30 miles per hour, highs in the upper 40s. The evening will turn slightly windier, with lows around 20 degrees.

2. Family Movie Night: The will host a  Wednesday at 7:00PM, featuring the Muppets rendition of “A Christmas Carol”. Refreshments will be provided.

3. ESL Class: A  will be held from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Malden Public Library. The event, held weekly, helps beginning speakers practice their skills and learn new words.

4. Fabric and art, together again: Already graduated, but still have the thirst for knowledge? Why not take up the 's “?” They're free, and teach attendees how to sew, quilt and pursue other fabric projects. Wednesday's class will run from 10 a.m. To 12 p.m.
