Happy Holidays from the Malden High School Alumni Association. We hope this busy season finds you well. 

The weather may be getting colder but we have lots of news to warm your heart this holiday season!
Our very own Malden High Football team celebrated a victory in the 125th  Malden vs. Medford annual Thanksgiving Day football game with a score of 32-6! What a fantastic culmination to all of the  homecoming activities leading up to this historic game. Nice to celebrate with a win!
On November 17th, the Golden Tornado Club hosted the Annual Hall of Fame Banquet. Congratulations to Jim Vazarkis ‘80, Jim Powers ‘83, Lydia Coverdale ‘02,  Vanessa James ‘01, and Joe DeVincentis ‘71 on being inducted into the Hall of  Fame!

The Jenkins Auditorium has been beautifully restored  to its original Art-Deco style. As a fundraiser to benefit Malden High Alumni  Association, you can have a nameplate engraved and placed on a seat in the  Jenkins. Trendz Outlet, 24  Broadway, Lynnfield

Christine Mader ’82 and Trendz Outlet invite the Class of ‘82 (and friends!) to sip, shop and support the Brendan Duffy Memorial Scholarship - 10% of the evening’s sales will be donated to the fund at Malden High School.

December  20th:

Winter Concert at Malden   High School, 7PM

A  glorious night of music and song performed by our award winning band and  choral group. Free admission; donations accepted.


Calling all cooks! Do you have a favorite recipe to share?!

While preparing your favorite holiday meals, send a copy of your recipe to Malden High Alumni. We are creating a Malden High Alumni Cookbook and welcome your special recipe.  Send recipe, along with name and year of graduation, to dlind420@verizon.net

This MHS Alumni Association update was written by Patty Kelly, who chairs the Homecoming activities for the MHSAA. It just happened to be posted under my Patch account, but all the credit goes to Patty.
