And by "I hope you got some nice new furniture for it" I really mean "I hope a bottomless sinkhole opened up underneath it"
Steve April 04, 2013 at 08:03 PM

Excuse me?
Chris Caesar April 04, 2013 at 08:42 PM
I've heard that should be ready by the summer.
jirkyrick April 04, 2013 at 09:21 PM
There is no like button. Lol
jirkyrick April 04, 2013 at 09:22 PM
Kinda like the phantom gourmet food pests. Where would they do it? Pleasant street to showcase the square?
jirkyrick April 04, 2013 at 09:24 PM
I thought it was funny, yeh , we know about the crime, the blue bags that keep the lids up on out barrels etc, Gotta keep a sense of humor if you are going to live in this city that's for sure, I died laughing at the mayors announcement regard changing the colors of the blue bags since I posted that about a day or two before
jirkyrick April 04, 2013 at 09:26 PM
Really, only two restaurants that I see where the food is worth eating. All Season Table for sure, exchange street bistro , good wen they are good. But inconsistent, jacks is ok too. The others eh
jirkyrick April 04, 2013 at 09:28 PM
Mostly pub grub and pizza, and most of the pub grub eh
Steve April 04, 2013 at 09:55 PM
Hey Mike G I got all green furniture to match ur envy.So sorry ur stuck here but to wish me ill will shows ur true character. You belong in Malden!
mg April 04, 2013 at 10:01 PM
Yeah, I'm envious of a humorless jerk in a new house who left his kids behind in a city he hates.

I would close Pleasant St from Washington St to City Hall, and then have the tents setup along Pleasant St through to City Hall Plaza. It would be on a weekend afternoon, not a Monday night.
Jennifer April 05, 2013 at 12:02 AM
I never knew food made people so angry.
paul surette April 05, 2013 at 07:46 AM
Me either, Jennifer! Mike, you really should have an egg mcmuffin....they are incredibly bad for you, and they make me smile. :)
The Dining Dad April 05, 2013 at 11:41 AM
I went there for lunch once and it was fair. I thought I would try dinner with my family the following week and hopefully it would be better. Far from it. It was the worse meal. The sauce was very watery, the table was never cleared of our appetizer and salad dishes. We were putting plates on other tables so we could eat our dinner. Does this sound like it deserves even 2 stars. I dont know the owner or any of his/her employees. First time meal is fair and shame on them but 2nd time is terrible and shame on me. For you to compare this to a North End ristorante tells me you know absolutely nothing about Italian food except for buying Ragu in aisle 4.

That sounds like a great idea! This "Taste" doesn't interest me but something outdoors that you could mosey around... THAT I would definitely do!
jirkyrick April 05, 2013 at 12:41 PM
NO SOUP FOR YOU !!,!,!!!

jirkyrick April 05, 2013 at 02:41 PM
Ah, but the dockside is on the list, don't you like them ;)
jirkyrick April 05, 2013 at 02:42 PM
Rat farts, I have to wait until summer to try it out
J Christina Smith April 05, 2013 at 10:10 PM
I was hoping for a little more diversity. Moroccan Hospitality, Abiata Cafe, Habesha, Biryani Park, Asian Table, Pho Hoa, to name a few.
Liss April 06, 2013 at 02:25 PM
Completely agree. I was also hoping the new Cuban restaurant - Oya Cuban Cafe would be there. I've had there salmon with mixed veggies. I'm Cuban and grew up with this food, but wow, it was delicious. Guess I'll just have to go back to try other things - but yes, it would have been nice to see some more diversity among the restaurants.
jirkyrick April 08, 2013 at 11:45 AM
Hope they have blue bags for all the trash when they are done ...lol
Kelley April 08, 2013 at 12:12 PM
You're right J. I am wondering how those restaurants could have missed being contacted for this event. I haven't eaten at Pho Hoa or Asian Table, but the others have great food.
AMYB April 08, 2013 at 08:48 PM
Does this seem a bit expensive to anyone else?
AMYB April 08, 2013 at 08:50 PM
Tony H that is a really good idea!
Chris Caesar April 08, 2013 at 10:19 PM
$25 for free food from about 25 restaurants?
emptygreenlocker April 08, 2013 at 11:23 PM
Hey Steve, all I could think of was the Police Academy movie when they storm the carnival and "the scullions" wreak havoc until Tackleberry and Hightower do them in. Lighten up Greg
Tony S April 09, 2013 at 12:04 AM
How was the food?
