Veterans Day 2012: What's Open, Closed Monday
Here's what's open and closed for the holiday.
This week we observe Veterans Day, a national holiday established in 1926 to honor men and women who have served in the military.
However, with the holiday falling on a Sunday government offices and some Malden businesses will be closed on Monday, Nov. 12. If you know of more businesses that are open or closed, help out your fellow neighbors by leaving them in the comments.

- Malden Public Schools
- Trash collection will be postponed one day.
- Malden City Hall (state and federal offices also closed)
- Malden Public Library
- Malden Post Office
- Most banks will be closed to observe the holiday.
What's Open
- Restaurants
- Convenience Stores
- Liquor stores
- Retail stores
- MBTA is operating on a regular weekday schedule. THE RIDE Service will operate on a Sunday schedule.
