The owners of Diesel Cafe in Davis Square and Bloc 11 Cafe in Union Square are opening a new “urban bakehouse and cafe,” Forge Baking Company, on Somerville Avenue, according to Boston Restaurant Talk.
The owners are already looking to hire pastry and bread leads for the new place, which is expected to open in the next six months. Construction is about to begin, according to the job postings page.
Forge Baking Company’s website has one post so far, but it says more updates are coming.

The cafe will be at roughly 624-626 Somerville Ave., according to Boston Restaurant Talk – that’s right next to Family Dollar. It’ll seat about 50.
