We are excited to announce that on Thursday, Oct. 31 the Malden Chamber of Commerce will host its 10th annual Halloween Trick or Treat in Malden Square from 3-5 p.m. for kids ages 10 years and younger.

Kid and their families are encouraged to check-in at the Chamber table in City Hall Plaza for a Trick-or-Treat Treasure Map which will list all Malden Square businesses participating in the event. Mayor Gary Christensen will also be holding “office hours” in City Hall Plaza as part of the event in addition to candy and craft activities provided by AT&T, Dockside Restaurants, Gentle Dental and Housing Families.

The Malden Police Department will also be on-hand offering free fingerprinting and photographing to provide families with free kids safety kits with help from McGruff the Crime Dog.

While trick or treating on Pleasant Street, kids are encouraged to also visit MATV’s Haunted Studio, a special spooky experience at the television station for kids of all ages.

This event is free and open to the public. For more information, visit the Malden Chamber of Commerce Facebook page and click the "Events" tab.
