MacDonald Stadium Commission Offering Advertising to Malden Area Businesses

Malden area businesses will have the opportunity to advertise their business at MacDonald Stadium on a seasonal basis starting this fall

Malden area businesses will have the opportunity to advertise their business at MacDonald Stadium on a seasonal basis starting this fall, according to a city press statement.

"Beginning this fall, the Macdonald Stadium Commission will offer an advertising program to businesses in and around the community by providing an opportunity for advertising at the stadium on a seasonal basis, running from March 1 through Dec. 1," according to the statement.

The newly renovated state-of-the-art playing field which is used nearly year-round by a variety of both nonprofit and for-profit organizations, according to the statement. Some of the groups that use the field include Malden High School athletic teams, band and cheerleaders; Malden Recreation Department; Malden Youth Sports; outside organizations such as Relay for Life, Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts;  and outside Malden youth and adult sports teams, the statement adds. 

Advertising space is limited and will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis, reads the statement. Those who sign up by Sept. 30 for the season beginning March 1, 2014 will received a $50 advertising discount, according to the statement.
