Hello Malden, I'm Your New Editor

Learn more about Malden Patch's newest editor.

By Mark Ouellette

Hello, Malden!

I am your new editor for Malden Patch.

In the spirit of our "5 Things" posts, here are five facts about yours truly:

1. I've worked nearly three years for Patch, serving as the editor of the Stoneham, Winchester and Melrose websites.

2. My work has appeared in several newspapers and on their respective news sites, including New Hampshire's largest daily newspaper, the Union Leader, The Telegraph of Nashua and The Cabinet Press' four weekly papers.

3. I founded the now defunct NHReporter.com website, known for its extensive coverage of the New Hampshire Fisher Cats baseball team, business and event features and columns.

4. I've interviewed some interesting people over the years, including Republican presidential candidates Rudy Giuliani and Tom Tancredo, Boston Marathon survivors, as well as a medic who survived the Battle of Iwo Jima.

5. I'm from the Live Free or Die state, New Hampshire, and have lived in Massachusetts for the past several years.

I'm looking forward to getting to know the city and Maldonians better in the coming weeks. Given that I will be serving as the editor of both the Malden and Melrose Patch websites, I'll be looking to you, our readers, to help us out, as we're always looking for your blog posts, photos, events and announcements about things happening in and around Malden.
