William P. Wright and Marjorie C. (Dunlevy) Wright




WILLIAM P. ("BILL") WRIGHT 1961-2013 
MARJORIE C. (DUNLEVY) WRIGHT 1927-2013William P. "Bill" Wright, of Wakefield, formerly of Malden, at the age of 52 on the evening of Oct. 5, 2013 
at the Sawtelle Family Hospice House in Reading, of cancer, after a brief illness. Bill predeceased his mother Marjorie C. (Dunlevy) by four hours. Marjorie C. "Marge" Wright, of Melrose, formerly of Malden, at the age of 86 on the morning of October 6, 2013 at Epoch Senior Living in Melrose, after a long illness. Bill was born and raised in Malden and was a 1979 graduate of Northeast Metropolitan Regional Vocational High School in Wakefield as a machinist. He worked as a research and development machinist for TIAX (formerly Arthur D. Little). Bill was a fiddle player and fan of bluegrass music, and had a vacation home in Jefferson, NH where he enjoyed spending time with friends and family. Marjorie was born in Melrose and raised in Malden, daughter of the late William and Ellen (MacLean) Dunlevy. She was a 1945 graduate of Malden High School as well as Malden Business School. After working several jobs in Malden, Marjorie enlisted in the United States Marine Corp. She was a member of the Massa-Shushers Ski Club of Bartlett, NH. Marjorie was a member of the Sacred Hearts Church Ladies Sodality and, along with her husband, member of the North Shore Irish Association. After many years as a homemaker she returned to work at Shawmut Bank in the 1980s. They were the devoted son and wife of the late Francis X.Wright, Sr. Beloved brother and mother of Francis X., Jr. and his wife Michelle, of Melrose, Mary Ellen Fava and her husband Anthony of Malden, and Kathleen M. Sullivan and her husband Robert of Malden. Also survived by nephews and grandsons Nicholas and John Wright, Daniel, Steven and William Fava, nieces and granddaughters Alycia and Erin Sullivan and grandnephew and great grandson Cameron Wright. Marjorie was the sister of Eleanor Coleman of Meredith, NH and her late husband John, the late William Dunlevy and his wife Joan of Tewksbury, the late Jeanette Coleman and her late husband Thomas, and the late Frank Dunlevy, as well as many nieces and nephews. Bill is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and lifelong friends John Savage, Bob and Judy Tanner, Rusty and Debbie Heuston, and Ed & Christine Boyton. Funeral from the Gately Funeral Home, 79 W. Foster St., Melrose on Friday, Oct. 11th at 9AM, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary's Church, Herbert St., Melrose at 10AM. Relatives & friends respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours on Thursday from 3 - 9 PM. Marjorie & Bill will be buried together at Forest Dale Cemetery in Malden.
