Community Corner

Ward 6 Candidate

I, John Torosian, am a candidate for the Ward 6 Councilor Seat.

I am for Ward 6.  Born in Malden, I am a lifelong Maldonian raised in Ward 6 and living at the same address for about 55 years.

My education runs from Malden High through Bunker Hill Community College.

I’ve never served in the military but have the utmost respect for the men and women, who put their lives on the line for our country.

As a volunteer, I’ve contributed in the past, including as a member of the Middlesex Sheriff Association doing volunteer work at the V.A. hospital in Chelsea.

I am union affiliated with Boston Carman Local 589 and the Screen Actors Guild.  I am also a member of the local Moose.

I am a retired MBTA driver, actor and professional car detailer.
Occupationally, I have done a lot of jobs in a short period of time.  This has taught me that no job is easy. You have to work hard to try and get things done the right way, the first time.

Some families, like mine, have had their share of hard personal issues to deal with.  My Catholic faith has helped me weather the stormy times and move forward.

With my dedication and drive to improve the state of affairs for the residents of Ward 6, knowing who I am, I humbly seek your consideration for the position of City Councilor Ward 6.  I may be a part time actor working to make ends meet, but striving to serve my community is no act.  Thank you.  Please vote.
