Public service workers endorse Bill Coleman and Debbie DeMaria for Malden Councillor At-Large

MALDEN – Public service workers who are members of SEIU Local 888's Committee on Political Action have voted overwhelmingly to endorse candidates Bill Coleman and Debbie DeMaria for Councillor At-Large seats in Malden.

Nearly 150 Malden School employees working in the Administration, Food Service and Maintenance departments are united in Local 888. 

"Public service workers know that Bill Coleman and Debbie DeMaria are candidates who will step up to serve the needs of everyone in Malden,” said Local 888 President Mark DelloRusso.  "These two candidates stand out as well-qualified to lead Malden forward on a wide array of issues including education, public safety, municipal finances, jobs and affordable housing."

Seven candidates are vying for three At-Large seats on the Malden City Council.

In the last week of the election, Local 888 members will promote Coleman's and DeMaria's campaigns and will let members' and their families know why they are the best candidates for Malden's working class families.
