Six Malden students will be appearing in Stoneham Theatre’s young company Summer Festival 2013. Stoneham Theatre’s young company offers year-round theatrical training and performing opportunities for children ages 7 – 18. This year’s Summer Festival will showcase five musicals and one play: Starmites Lite, Bye, Bye Birdie, The Wiz, Jekyll & Hyde, Bernarda Alba, and The Handless Maiden.
Audrina Herbert, Katie Roeder, and Kelsey Mi Telfort will appear in The Wiz, the funky musical adaptation of The Wizard of Oz. Jekyll & Hyde, a musical retelling of the classic story about a doctor whose experiments create a murderous counterpart, will feature Sarah Bendell, Meghan Brown, and Brianna Romero.
