Malden to Host Rededication Ceremony at Tartikoff Park

Here are five things to know on Wednesday, Nov. 6 in Malden:

1. Malden will host a rededication ceremony of Tartikoff Park, located at Willow and Lyme Streets, at 11 a.m. Wednesday. The park is named in honor of Private David Tartikoff, a Maldonian who was one of 350 Marines to die on June 6, 1918 in the Battle of Belleau Wood in France, according to an event posting on Malden Patch.

2. The Beebe School Council meets at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Beebe Elementary School Conference Room, according to an agenda posted on the city website.

3. The Rotary Club of Malden meets from 12:15-1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Anthony's of Malden, according to the events calendar on the Malden Chamber of Commerce website.

4. There will be an ESL Conversation class from 1-2:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Program Room at Malden Public Library, according to an events calendar on the library website.

5. The Music Launch Guitar concert is slated for 7-8 p.m. Wednesday at Malden Public Library, according to an events calendar on the library website.
