Friends of Malden River to Meet at Library Tuesday

1. The Friends of Malden River will be meeting from 6:30-8 p.m. Tuesday in the Maccarrio Room at Malden Public Library, according to an event posting on Malden Patch.
2. The Malden City Council meets at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the City Council Chambers at City Hall, according to an agenda on the city website.
3. Song & Rhyme Time is scheduled for 10:30-11:15 a.m. Tuesday in the Children's Room at Malden Public Library, according to the events calendar on the library website.
4. It is expected to be rainy much of the day Tuesday, with temperatures peaking in the low 50s before dropping to an overnight low in the mid-30s.
5. In case you missed it, friends of Julia Vanella, a 16-year-old junior at Malden High School killed in a two-vehicle collision in New Hampshire over the weekend, made a makeshift memorial to honor the local teen.
