DESCRIPTION:The Painting in the Park party will take place on Earth Day &
 ndash\; Sunday April 22 from 1-3:30 pm at Miller Park on Harvard and Sam
 mett Streets. The event will celebrate the earth&rsquo\;s birthday by en
 couraging the community to come outside and enjoy the park. &nbsp\;It wi
 ll be led by community artist Tova Speter and all are welcome &ndash\; y
 oung and old &ndash\; no painting experience is necessary.\nThe rain dat
 e for this event will be determined at a later date. Those interested in
  attending can refer to&nbsp\;www.millerparkvision.com&nbsp\;for more in
 formation. Participants are asked to wear clothing appropriate for paint
 ing. Light refreshments will be provided as residents first create desig
 ns inspired by nature and then paint their colorful images at the park.&
