 sp\;Sunday\, June 3 from 1-3:30 p.m. to celebrate the hopeful upcoming r
 enovation of Miller Park at Harvard and Sammett Streets. Community membe
 rs will have the opportunity to paint trash cans and tables at the park.
  Refreshments will be provided and no painting experience is necessary t
 o attend.\nA few months ago\, the City received an Open Spaces Sacred Pl
 aces Planning Grant from the TKF Foundation to develop designs for the r
 enovation of Miller Park. The planning team\, which consists of Architec
 t Abby Klima\, Artist Tova Speter\, Ward Seven Councillor Neal Anderson 
 and the Malden Redevelopment Authority\, plans to submit their final des
 ign proposal to the private foundation at the end of June. The city shou
 ld know by December whether the foundation will provide grant funds to c
 arry out the renovation project.\nThis Open Spaces Sacred Places Plannin
 g Grant has brought the Malden community together to develop the design 
 that includes a tranquil space for reflection and meditation. For more i
