DESCRIPTION:This  is one of the longest-running life-drawing groups in th
 e Boston Area\,  having met weekly for the last 12 years.\nArtists of al
 l levels of  ability and experience are welcome. You may come on a regul
 ar or drop-in  basis. We each pay $6 per week to cover the model's fee. 
 There is no  instruction but you can get plenty of friendly advice and f
 eedback if  you ask for it.\nYou are invited to experience what artists 
 have known  for centuries: that it is a demanding and productive exercis
 e to capture  the human form from life...no matter what you usually pain
 t!\nWe are meeting every Thursday evening at the same time\, same place\
 , same  cost. At this session a clothed model holds one pose for the who
 le  evening for a portrait. Again\, this is a classic exercise for artis
 ts of  every genre. It's fascinating to see how many different ways a ro
 om  full of artists will interpret the same face.\nThere is no art equip
 ment provided but there are chairs in the room. You  may show up with si
 mply a pencil and a pad of paper or with your easel  and paints.\nMany a
 rtists come prepared to do quick charcoal sketches on  short-pose weeks 
 but bring a more elaborate set-up for a long-pose. If  you are intereste
