Paul.. Excellent job!!
I am so excited, I was actually crying while watching one of the videos. My only regret is that my health would not allow me to come and celebrate in person that night. I actually do remember telling Gary the very first day I met him (at a BBQ my Dad was having for him), that he "already had it in the bag!" I even remember his humble reply. He said "Really?" and "You think so?" and to that I said, "Absolutely!" So, Congrats to MAYOR Christenson, and Team Christenson, who worked so hard to make all of this possible.
Oh, and did I mention.. Yippee!!

Funny story about the voting polls.. I walked in with my Daughter and an older gentleman immediately came rushing towards me pointing his finger, and looking like he was going to pounce on me!! He almost gave me a heart attack, and even the ladies that were "checking people in," gasped. As it turned out, I still had my "Christenson," button on my jacket, and that was NOT allowed in there. Thank God the ladies knew me (because I vote every year, and I know some of them personally), and boy did they give him crap about the way he came at me!! The officer that was stationed there was even giggling!! When I was leaving, the gentleman was outside. He turned to me and apologized. Then he put his arm around me and whispered "You made the right choice, Kiddo!" lol!! Anywhoo, I just thought I would share that scary yet funny experience with all of you.
