Mystic Valley Distributes Book Awards

The Mystic Valley Regional Charter School recently presented Book Awards to members of the Class of 2013.  The book awards honor outstanding members of the junior class who best represent the specific missions of the colleges that have been kind enough to bestow them.  Some of the books are written by university professors or a noted alumnus, others are classic works of literature, and others are titles chosen by the university to represent each university’s mission of scholarship and service. Juniors are selected based on specific individual criteria as defined by the sponsoring university. This commonly includes academic performance, community engagement, a passion for learning, and leadership. The awards were given during the National Honor Society induction ceremony.
