Mystic Valley Baseball Wins 11-5
The Mystic Valley baseball team came from 4 runs down to post an 11-5 win over Whittier on Tuesday. Pat Holden went the distance on the mound to pick up the win for the Eagles.
“The guys battled hard today and never gave up. Our defensive play was very sloppy early on but we were able to tighten things up as the game went on. From an offensive standpoint we had great at bats down the stretch and managed to put together a few big innings (3 in the 5th and 6 in the 6th) which allowed us to win the game” said head coach Chris Bauer after the game.
The win puts the Eagles at 3-2 overall and 1-1 in the CAC. They play next in the MC tourney on Friday and Saturday.
