Malden Reads “Lunch Hour” Book Discussion

The next in the Malden Reads Book Discussion series for the 2013 selection, “The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-time Indian” by Sherman Alexie, will be held at First Congregational Church in Malden Square (184 Pleasant St.) on Thursday, March 21 at noon. This is a great opportunity for local employees to join a book discussion on their lunch break! Anyone who has read the book is welcome to attend. Soft drinks and light snacks will be provided. Bring a bag lunch if you’d like! The discussion will last for one hour and folks are welcome to linger longer for conversation if their time allows.

The book discussion will be facilitated by Malden Reads Committee member Janis VanHeukelom. We especially encourage folks who have never joined a book discussion before to participate! You are also welcome to attend more than one discussion. We find that each discussion takes on its own flavor, depending on the background and experiences of the participants involved.
