Malden Reads is excited to announce the return of the Malden Eats community dining series this spring. We invite you to share a convivial meal with fellow Maldonians and explore themes related to this year's Malden Reads selection, "The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian" by Sherman Alexie, in a fun and relaxing atmosphere. You do NOT need to have read the book to attend. The first community dining event is on Monday, March 4 at 7 p.m. at Prisco's Pasta Market Café at 245 Ferry St in Malden.
The community dinner will be a buffet sampling from many of the house made pastas, with a panalopy of savory sauces, as well as salad and fresh rolls. The café specializes in fresh pasta, which they make daily in house. The restaurant produces tortellini, gnocchi and ravioli with over 25 stuffings, 18 flavors of pasta dough, and a huge variety of extruded pastas. Chef/Owner Prisco Mancaniello hails from Southern Italy near Naples, but the menu at the Pasta Market features dishes from across the many regions of Italy, cooked with the freshest ingredients in the attractive open kitchen.
Space is limited, so reservations with the restaurant are highly recommended. Call 781-397-0555and be sure to specify that you are with the Malden Reads dinner. Those unable to honor their reservations are asked to cancel, so the next person on the list can attend.
Prisco's does not accept credit cards; the meal will cost $20 not including tax, tip and beverage.
