Malden High School Robotics Club Compete at "Botball 2012"

Malden High School Robotics Club members Kevin Yang, Chris Lee, Manjot Chahal, Harvick Tang, Johnson Pham and Andy Tse joined by club Advisors Mr. Chris Bazzinotti and Mr. Brian Morrison represented Malden High School at Botball 2012 on March 24th at UMass Lowell’s Costello Gym.

The Botball Educational Robotics Program engages middle and high school aged students in a team-oriented robotics competition based on national science education standards.

The program is KISS Institute’s flagship project. KISS stands for the old engineering acronym, “Keep It Simple, Stupid”. This international educational organization helps improve the public’s understanding of science, math, engineering, and technology; develop the skills, character, and aspirations of students; while contributing to the enrichment of school systems, communities, and the nation.

“The students represented Malden High School with intensity and creativity,” commented Mr. Bazzizinotti and Mr. Morrison. “The members of the club put in many hours after school preparing their individually designed robots for the tournament.”
