Question 2 ...Why not have the city for a fee rent or sell camera's installed for your home. One cam per household wirless to the outside only. This will create jobs with in the City and a profeit could be made to spend towards police and fire departments. It can be paid flex pay in your taxes over 6 mo.s If enough people want to do this the city can but in gross at a lower price. Watcha Think?

Fee fy mo Mirley, Shirley!
Lincoln!
Lincoln, Lincoln bo Bincoln Bonana fanna fo Fincoln
Fee fy mo Mincoln, Lincoln!
Come on everybody!
I say now let's play a game
I betcha I can make a rhyme out of anybody's name
The first letter of the name, I treat it like it wasn't there
But a B or an F or an M will appear
And then I say bo add a B then I say the name and Bonana fanna and a
fo
And then I say the name again with an F very plain
and a fee fy and a mo
And then I say the name again with an M this time
and there isn't any name that I can't rhyme

Hi Chris,
Several weeks ago, you said that you were working on an article about the DPW site, and the Boston Steel aquisition. At that time I gave you a list of questions. As a reminder I heard the DPW was moving to Eastern Ave last spring. I therefore thought that the Boston Steel aquisition was old news. Needless to say I am very eager to learn of the details. When may I expect to see the article? Thanks.

Hi Chris,
I have one more question with regard to the Boston Steel Property. How did the Mayor arrive at 4.5 million price tag? Could you compare this with other commercial properties that have sold in Malden in the past few years? How about on a cost per foot basis? Thanks again. Looking forward to your findings.

Ricky, as I've asked you before: if you hear a rumor like this, contact me at Malden@Patch.com so I can look into it. If you are really interested in finding that information out, leaving me a snarky message on a Sunday night is not going to accomplish very much.

We're just a one man operation here, and Sunday is my day off. I check email and try to stay on top of things but I can't be everywhere at once. I'll send the PD an email and we'll have an answer in the morning.

I was not being snarky, and I was not pointing out that you did not cover it, in fact it was not covered by any news outlet which I found odd. I was using my itard (pad) which I have not bothered to setup with email, so please accept my apologies if I offended you

"That's not news?" Seemed kind of snarky. I just saw an email from the detective and am writing the article now:

"Hello, I can confirm we had a deceased 34 year old male found yesterday morning. He was found near the City Hall Plaza. The matter is under investigation at this time so we cannot comment further on a possible cause of death. The matter is being investigated by Malden and State Police detectives. We will not be releasing the name of the victim at this time."

I thought there where cameras all over the place right near the police station, should not be too hard to find the cause of death, I know I will not walk through city hall plaza at night. go figure though, a stones through from the police station, you would think that would be one of the safest areas of the city. The thats not news comment was more about the city not informing anyone. Usually homicides, or "suspicous" deaths have all kinds of news crews covering it. Was the city going to tell you about this if you did not ask? Again, that was not a comment about your work, it was a comment about the city covering up what is probably a violent crime.

Comcast offers the cameras your speaking of already. It's affordable in comparison to other companies. Perhaps the town can join with them.

My name is David Nylin. Im a firefighter here in Malden and recentntly did a walk thru the. Ace-Lon plastic bag manufacturing plant and was both impressed and disappointed to learn that our city doesn't employ them to make those ridiculous trash bags for our city. WHY? Don't u at city hall support Malden companies??? Please answer.
