Mystic Valley Cuts Ribbon at New Athletic Field: A group of local elected officials joined members of Mystic Valley’s Board of Trustees and a large number of Mystic Valley students, alumni and parents to celebrate the opening of the school’s new athletic field on Eastern Avenue.
Salvation Army Hands Out Turkeys, Fixings For Those In Need: Thanksgiving got a lot happier on Wednesday November 21 thanks to the Salvation Army and the support of the community. Volunteers were handing out boxes with turkeys and all the other fixings for a good Thanksgiving dinner. In particular there was a group of Eighth graders from the Ferryway School that were helping people pick out fresh vegetables and bring boxes and turkeys to their vehicles.
