VIDEO: Elizabeth Warren Visits Malden
Did we catch you on our video? Hear what the candidate had to say about "The War on Women," Malden and Mayor Gary Christenson's endorsement.
Democratic Senate hopeful Elizabeth Warren took her campaign to Malden Thursday afternoon, accepting an enthusiastic endorsement from Mayor Gary Christenson and briefly meeting with supporters at the city's senior center.
Christenson praised Warren while clutching a copy of her book "The Two Income Trap," which he described as an influence on his decision to first run for public office.
In turn, Warren described Christenson as a forward-thinking mayor, whose "dreams for Malden" would be best served with her sympathetic partnership in the Senate.
"I have watched what's happened here in Malden, I've listened to the mayor about his dreams for Malden, I've met the people of Malden," she said. "And what I see is some real opportunities for your future."

Nice job Mr. Mayor, what's Malden gonna do when Scott Brown handily defeats the Native American professor and gets to choose how federal aid to cities and towns is dispersed? Do you think Senator Brown will put Malden on the top of his list?
I hope the Mayor's shameful pandering to the Democratic machine gets him what he wants- a quick ticket out of his Pleasant Street career, which is now clearly just a stepping stone to future political games of which he obviously enjoys being a pawn!

Oh boy, Raj.....I don't think Mr. Alleged Moderator is going to like you making comments like that about his candidate. LOL....as Clint said about Warren "watching whats been going on in Malden", yeah right. Elizabeth Warren pulls one of her aides to the side and asks "where is Malden again?" :)

Is there a comprehensive outline of Brown's stances on stuff like education and taxation of small business? Warren has some extensive plans on her site but Brown's is very, very vague, and I want to know more about his plans/stances, not all this buzzword crap.

His voting record should be available somewhere, though I'm sure the Mass Republican Party is trying to keep it well hidden. You can find some information at this link: http://elizabethwarren.com/truth-team

Of course he is. I hear he met with Karl Rove at the Republican Convention. You can't get more inside the Republican Party than that!

Watching the mayor holding up Warren's book, well, was painful to say the least. He was so giddy, all smiles....like he got to hold her books on the way home from school. What a shameless prop.

Time out Mrs. Warren....back the bus up there for a minute....birth control is just what it is....BIRTH CONTROL. "Preventative measures" are equated with keeping one healthy, as in maintaining health. How does birth control do that, other than maybe dealing with an estrogen deficiency or regulating a woman's cycle? I'm sure the women here are going to have a frenzy on my comment, and I welcome it.

Birth control prevents abortions...
If you want to reduce the amount of abortions, make sure people aren't getting pregnant. Personally, I don't want to see more women and children on welfare because a condom broke, and I want to see a decrease in abortions performed without also putting the lives of women at risk.. makes sense to me to keep the babies from getting made in the first place.

And what about the wonderful organization called Planned Parenthood, although, it should really be called "Unplanned Parenthood". A haven for the baby-making factories. A woman, who is of low income, gets pregnant. Either she wants the child, and gets more money from welfare, or she gets a free abortion. Either way, it's on OUR dime. Thankfully, the state of Texas had the courage to say no more. If you made the 'adult' decision to have sex, then you need to deal with the consequences of that! PERIOD. In the case of rape, obviously, I support the exception. To Annie O, and DIana....bring it on!

Bring what on? I mean, abortion IS dealing with the consequence of getting pregnant, and is also a constitutionally protected right and will remain so. I'm thinking of getting one just to tick you off. Yours is the screeching of the impotent, and it brings me joy.

And Warren was invited because she is stumping to get Ted Kennedy's seat back, something the current administration covets, which reflects a lot of their own opnions, You don't need a degree to see that one! McCain got a lot of those votes back in 2008, because the Kennedy diehards are his age.

And I noticed that no where in Clinton's speech, did he recognize this myth put out by Obama's campaigners that Romney has waged a 'war on women' regarding Planned Parenthood....because it doesn't exist. The only truth he didn't reflect on.
Obama, like Bush Sr, will lose because of the jobless rate! I, thankfully, will help him become unemployed!
