The Week Ahead: A Farmers Market and Exploring Different Cultures

  • WIN TICKETS ON MONDAY: Don't miss the  from 8:00am–9:00pm on Monday at 99 Dartmouth St. - you could win Four “Pavilion Level” Seats to Boston Red Sox vs. Yankees game on August 30. Prize includes limousine transportation, dinner at Fenway Park, and a pre-game “on the field” experience.

    Raffle Tickets are only $20 each or $50 for three. Proceeds go to help fund YMCA Summer Camp Scholarships.

    • FARMERS MARKET ON TUESDAY: Head to the  from 3:00pm–6:00pm on Tuesday at Malden Government Center Plaza (200 Pleasant St.). The event features Busa Farms of Lexington, Piantedosi Baking Co., Cookies by Miss Jackie, and New Heritage Farms.

     

    • PUBLIC RECEPTION ON WEDNESDAY: The event  will be from 6:30pm–8:30pm on Wednesday at . This public reception will allow you to view artwork by Radiant Jasmin, and see her perform her poetry, dance, and play music. Light refreshments will also be served.

    • EXPLORE CULTURES ON THURSDAY: The  event is taking place at 10:00am on Tuesday at the . Students of The Immigrant Learning Center, Inc. (ILC) who are residents of Malden and surrounding communities and come from all corners of the globe will share their native cultures and experiences as newcomers to the United States through song, dance and spoken word. This event is free.

     

    • STURBRIDGE VILLAGE ON FRIDAY: Take advantage of . Free Fun Fridays: Old Sturbridge Village is at 9:30am on Friday at 1 Old Sturbridge Village Rd. Don't miss this chance for residents and tourists to visit designated cultural attractions every Friday this summer with free admission. No registration or tickets required.
