A robbery suspect is still at large Wednesday, after police say he stole cash from the register at the S&S Market Tuesday night.

Malden Police Detective Lt. Marc Gatcomb confirmed that the suspect - described as a clean cut white male in his mid-20s, wearing a white shirt, dark blue jeans and a red backpack – allegedly grabbed cash from the register and fled the scene.

“K-9's tracked a scent down Sheafe St., but then lost it,” he wrote in an email. “No suspects at this time.”

According to police scanner transmissions, police searched for the suspect near the cemetery at 175 Broadway.
