Quick Arrests Made After Oak Grove Robbery
A police spokesman confirms the two suspects knew the victim in Wednesday morning's armed robbery.
Two supsects were arrested within hours of an armed robbery in Malden Wednesday morning, police said.
The names of those arrested could not be immediately released as the matter was still under investigation, Lt. Det. Marc Gatcomb said.
The suspects were known to the victim.
"The robbery occurred after they lured the victim to a meeting place and pointed what was believed to be a firearm at the victim," he wrote in an email to Malden Patch.

I agree councilor. One for the good guys. Hey Mike G. did the police "simply get the job done" on this incident?

Yes, they did their job when the victim led them to the suspects.

in my book that says they did good work. maybe they should have ignored the victim if what you say is true, and use another means to solve the crime? Maybe you should give credit when it is due for once.

It was over 10 mins old when the victim had contacted police which made it harder for them.

I'm trying to figure out why people feel the need to comment in a negative way on the job done by the Malden Police Department. It appears the police officers did their job and did it well. Yes, they did what they get paid to do and YES, it's also nice to be thankful we have them. Keep up the great work MPD!

Let's not forget these robbers had a gun. So if they were led to these people they were led to a person who was armed. Have any of the negative regulars on here ever done that? Good job by the police and thank you for protecting our families from the evil in this world.

Yes your right Maria,There is EVIL among us! Yes around every corner lurks a boogie man of some sort. But our MPD is right there to stop out the Evil that lurks. They are faster than a speeding bullet, more powerfull than a locomotive, able to leap tall buildings in a single bound!

If the ones complaining about our Police Force don't like how they do their jobs then by all means join the force and show us how it's supposed to be done.

Robert there is nothing to complain about. I would want to be one for all the money in the world. The police are damed if they dont and damed if they do. They can eat all the donuts n coffee all they want dont matter to me its just the ones who go bad I dont like. Malden has had its share.

I suggest you take some reading comprehension courses and re-read my comments.
Also next time, be a man and address me directly instead of being a spineless, passive-aggressive zilch.

Reading comprehension courses? You have said that to lots of people in your comments. Do you teach them? Calling someone spineless after all your snide comments and lack of involvement? You must be the point man on a SWAT team.

Mike G, I wasn't actually writting about you, I was including anyonewho direspects our Police with out having had their experiences, you seem rather defensive. If you believe it was you I was writting about then thaty's okay too.
And you're spineless passive aggresive comment couldn't be anymore wrong, I just don't engage in childs play.
