POLL: Should Malden Restrict Downtown Development to Six Stories?

A public hearing scheduled for Wednesday night will explore a proposed zoning amendment that would cut current regulations in half.

The Malden Planning Board will hold a public hearing at 7 p.m. Wednesday night to discuss and seek feedback from residents about a potential amendment to some downtown zoning.

The change would allow new development as high as six stories, cutting the city's existing 12-story limit in half.
